SCCA Sanctioned Drift Event in New Olreans, LA 9/21/08!

Its on, Delta-scca.org and NoDRFT.com are putting on a scca sanctioned drift event. Date: Sunday, Sept 21 Location: Zephyrs Field 6000 Airline Dr Metairie, LA 70003 This is all coming so quick, lately, we've been waiting on zephyrs to confirm the date we choose to see if it was open or not. Now, we received word that its open and free, so a drift event is happening!! Price: Pre Registration SCCA Members - $50 Non SCCA Members - $75 PRE REGISTRATION WILL END 9/19/08 Day of Event: SCCA members - $50 Non SCCA members- $100 Registration will be by Dlbracing.com, that is being setup now... please give it a day or 2 for it to become available. payment will be accepted by paypal, check, or money order. Once I get the address to Delta's SCCA treasurer, I'll post it. Event Schedule: Tech - 8:00-9:00am Driver's meeting - 9:00-9:30am First Car out - 9:30-10am Competition - 3pm-til Last car out - 4:30-5:00pm 8 HOURS OF DRIFTING and Learning!!! Everyone is welcome, doesn't matter if you're a beginner or pro, come!! Support the Drift scene here, help it grow! concessions will be on site no fee for spectators, anyone over the age of 12 is welcome for ride alongs! we'll try to put up bleachers for people to site and watch Purpose of this thread is to give you guys a heads up: take off of work, prepare the cars, start harvesting tires, and TELL/INVITE EVERYONE!!.. NO EXCUSES!!
