*SCCA Guys* 15" tire opinons

Hi guys, im looking into get a set of the 15" stockers wrapped in something decent before we try to make the NICOFest at VIR . i've been looking around for a lightly used set of tires, but also considering spending some of the budget on a new set. Some reviews on what has been working well for you guys would be great. We are pushing the time limits but we should be finished just in time.

Has anybody run the Sumo HRT200 205/60, or Federal ss-595 can only find them in 185/55vr15 and a 195/55zr15? Any impressions would be great can only find some really basic reviews on both.

Federal 595 are about the lowest of the low. Should you have some 15x7 wheels laying around you could do 225/50-15 in an R compound and lap like a scolded cat!

Biggest issue right now is funds. I know low budget and good tire dont go together. But i would rather stay away from the known cheap-o(kumho, after many bad experiances) if i could find a better brand my budget would allow.
