SCCA/DRIFT? AUG.26th 2007!

Good Evening,

As you all know, the SCCA(Sports Car Club of America) Fresno Chapter is holding their regular event on August 26th. This event is going to be a regular event for Autocrossing, but it will also bring the idea for drifting. Yes I've said it, drifting.

A friend of mine(Navy) talked to me today about the 26th of August, he had contacted the chairman and he has been bringing up ideas for SCCA to Sponser a drift event for all of us. Now I don't know exactly how sure SCCA will be able to do this, but I know they're capable of doing anything if the majority of those who are interested are there(This meaning bringing the amount of supporters). Navy also said that the only real situation is the amount of people interest in it and also are willing to come support. Likewise it's like anything else, if there's no one show up to an event, then what's the point of making one...

The 26th of August will be within two weeks from now. If you are interest in having SCCA sponsering a drift event, please come out and support each other on that day @ Castle Air Force Base where they hold their regular autocrossing. I will be there for sure and as will as my brothers.
