SCC Challenge: Your favs to win

I was just flipping through SCC (The Gay and the Curious issue) and was wondering what everybody's favorites where to win this year's ultimate street car challenge. I like the R32 personally but that Sr powered 510 is pretty nice too.

The '03 Ultima GTR's are gonna be tough to beat on the road course, if they make the cut. I've read many write-ups about the Ultima and the Radical in various UK mags, and these cars are the absolute definition of street legal race car.

Too bad Porsche didn't make a greater showing, as I'm sure most of you will agree that a 996 911turbo is a world beater in stock form.

The Vipers are gonna clean this one up, IMO.

exactly what i was about to say, with the skyline coming close in second like last years more than likely, theres a couple stealths that look like competition

I want to see the Metro make it to the Challenge, I think that would be pretty cool. But, of course, I'm gonna go for the Skylines, I wish a nice 240 would get in there.

i think that 9.0 v10 viper is going to sweep the competition but there are a couple of nice z32's

Yeah i like the Utama GTR, seen one drag race here in UT, couldnt get tracktion though the frist 2 gears, but then it got traction still ran a low 10. if there was a way to get the power to the ground it would have ran a low 9's. Mclaren used it as a test bed for the BMW v12 in there F1 Super car.

I also like the Metro, it should make it. Other then that though, its hard to say.

if i had to put money down, the o3 ultima gtr (bmw v12 in it), and id also vote in teh 9.0 liter viper, the bored out and turbo'd nsx, the yellow 35oZ, and the r34, those are my top 5, i cant wait to see it, err, read it, can u attend these things at al??

I dont know who i am going for, but i know the altima turbo in there is cthunder on altimas.net and no one has seen, heard or has any indication of that running.

TNN I think. a slight step above that other show on SPEED channel, what's it called HiRev Tuners? TV is useless anyways.

Im sure its on sunday too but the thing is that im always at work on sunday days. Usually the sunday lineup is on earlier than the saturday lineup. Check it out...i'd almost bet money that its on during Sunday mornings too.

yea, vipers stock are one hell of a competition, but these guys are modded too, hell one of them stroked the car out to 9.o liters!!, now all its gotta do is hold its own on the road course and such because as far as straight line power, i think its already one, although im excited on what kind of competition the ultima gtr will bring!

i was suprised to see that lil bugger in there, but the underdog always gets lots of votes, its probably fairly quick from a roll on, but as far as slalom and such, i dont think so, o, and the echo that can supposedly out run the camaro SS!
