Ok, so I make fun of all of you guys in "weather" states, but yesterday, here in Sunny SoCal, we had 2+ tornados, rain, and h-h-hail. This was all within 5 miles of me.

While I was driving home, the coupe seemed to be having a hard time accelerating almost like it was slipping, but I didn't have a slip light and no side sliding.

Could it just have been the weird weather? Very disheartening.

Some nasty tornados and hail here. Starting to worry about the G getting hit with hail while out and about.

That sucks.

I was just talking to Kenny (MaximA32) on AIM, and he was telling me about them. You and Kenny live pretty close, you guys should meet up some time. He's in Corona, only about 15 miles down the road from you.

Why don't you have a slip light? WTF???

I have driven withing a mile of an F3 tornado. The wind was crazy. It was raining sideways. Seriously. I was in a Dodge Ram truck, and it had no problem accelerating away from where I was.

Just so long as you arent up by windsor - and if you did get dammage in Colorado from that storm remember that the State Farm regional office (covering 6 states) was directly hit by that tornado sucking out most of the glass in their 3 building campus, dragging several cars out on the lawn from the parking lot and they found several 1 1/2 ' (yes 1.5 feet) boulders from the landscaping on top of the buildings after the storm passed... so don't expect your claim to be dealt with until sometime next week.

There is no such thing as global warming. Just another concept invented to make a certain amount of people very very rich and scare the mases(And give the stupid movie stars something to protest...Makes them feel alive or something). And those people live in large(usually own more then one) mansions that take 5 times the normal size house to power(we all know the power comes from the burning of fossil fuels in power plants). Oh and their personal jets soaring back and forth across the world doesn't hurt as well.

The world has went through many hot and cold periods. Look at the several ice ages that we have record of.

Nope, nope...I'm good. I'm back down in Westminster and not up at UNC anymore. Scary stuff but even in Greeley it sounds like it would have been just major hail. Just wouldn't have wanted to be on Hwy 34 that day.

Weather is back to "Normal" for now. Not sure what the deal was with the slip light.

I was able to break traction in 1st going straight by punching it around 3k rpms (like 15 mph) which I thought was kind of fun.

One of the bridesmaids (read my latest thread for more details) at the wedding on Saturday lives in MoVal too and she showed us pictures of snow on the south side of town (we get snow once every 5-10 years).
