I just got my Scan gage 2 last night!! IT ROCKS!! I think I may have OCD when t comes to gas mileage. When I drive our 06 explorer, I always change the computer display to MPG, keeps me in check(Its hard to not make the V8 rumble after driving the little V). I hated the fact that the V didn't have one, then I was reading in one of the threads about someone elses and realized I had to have one. I know there was a brief discussion about a group buy, but I am an instant gratification kind of guy, and I was saving money for springs, so thats out now. This thing is amazing, it shows me intake temp, which I wish I had before I swithched to the AEM CAI to see how big a difference it makes. It also shows percent load on the engine, throttle position, temps, current mpg, tank mpg, trip mpg, just about everything. My obsession is further fired by this thing!!! All I need now is a clever factory looking place to mount it. And for those caring more about cosmetics, it has 63 colors to pick from for the background which has adjustable brightness. It took about 2 minutes to install and setup. I highly recommend!!! Here is a pic of how I have it now. On an unrelated subject, some ******* dented my drivers side rear door and didn't bother to leave a note, so be on the lookout for a white car with some black paint on his door in the San Diego area...He can visit with the guy that stole EVs stereo.

I want to as well, I was thinking of mounting it in the little cubby above the stereo, but then where will my radar detector go when I drive on base? (not allowed on government property) I will think of something for a project next week, and post some pics if it comes out good.

Please post your pics. This is one of the locations I'm considering.

I have a ham radio control head just about this size that I put on the dash, to the left and against the window. It use strips of self-stick velcro on it and the dash, and it holds quite well. I've been thinking about adding the ScanGuage next to it. In that location, they're easy to see without taking your eyes too far off of the road, and you don't have to reach through the steering wheel to make adjustments. (The radio controls are on the microphone, so I only have to touch the head to turn it on and off.)

I have mine mounted on the column. The center of the picture is the connection.

I think yours is a different generation than mine, my plug is dead center in the back, whereas yours looks like it may come out of the side? I would have mounted mine like yours, but it blocks the TPMS and the other error lights there on the bottom. At the top, it just blocks part of the speedometer, but no matter what, its awesome!!! I will think of somewhere creative, there was a kit on ebay for mounting it on the rear view mirror, like some of the factory computers from Ford.

Mine has a connection on the back as well. As a matter of fact, I have since moved it to the back. I've only had mine for a month or so - see if you have a connection the side as well.

I was looking at these on line too. I believe you can connect the cord to the back or the side. They're trying to give more than one mounting option.

Has anyone tried the MSD Dash Hawk in a Versa. Although it costs more, it can also provides performance data unlike the Scan Gauge.

Thanks,
