Long story short, I am from canada and was in search of a product. Sr20Det20 (real name Wess Hassan) had the said item for sale. We agreed on a price and I sent the funds Via Paypal.

after a slight blip in communication we failed to reach an agreement and he decided to refund the full amount.

Couple days later I recieve the Delay in Echeck payment from Wess Hassan saying the senders bank has declined the payment for his refund.

Throughout this I have been attempting to contact him through both the shop he advertises in his Signiture and through both his E-mails.

The shop advertised in NJ:WessCCP Motorsportshttp://www.customcarperformance.com

email: [email protected]

I believe I gave him sufficient time to secure the funds but now that he has chosen to not to respond in any manner I must make others aware of this individual.

I have contacted paypal and filed a claim but I know it will take forever to complete.

Anyone know of this shop personally? I have contacted the shop itself earlier and they claimed that Wess would drop by quite regularly but works at another location. I then later emailed them after receiving the delay in echeck payment and now the shop has no idea who Wess is.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am aware this is an uphill battle but am determined to resolve the issue.

I am simply asking for my full refund back.

Help Nico!

thanks for the info, I had contacted them before where a younger fellow, failed to get his name (my mistake) told me that Wess was a regular that appeared at the store quite regularly.

I was hoping that because he was part of the shop that there was alittle more backing but now it is in paypals hands.

Anyone have experience with the paypal claim service?

Hopefully I can find who it was I spoke too earlier.

thanks nico.

I had to goto Paypal claims. Audio XTC sold me a body kit on Jan 7th and expected me to wait until may 15th for it. Then wouldn't give me back my money when I had asked. Make sure you escalate your claim asap. Paypal contacted seller and was able to get me a refund.

How much was it for? If it is over a certain amount and since it was done online that violates a few more laws then normal. But if all else fails. Take a few unnamed items and track the SOB down. I am a fan of that. :D

I feel really bad for you, you may try to file a claim with small claims in NJ, but that could take a while. This illustrates how important it is to fully research your sources before buying, especially high ticket items like engines. Make sure the company and or individuals you are dealing with are legitimate and have references. Especially on Ebay, trying to get your money back after the fact, is no fun. It's hard enough finding a good reliable motor from even a legitimate vendor, but at least they aren't going to rip you off. Try looking at EliteJDM.com...

Luckily it was not for a large amount such as an engine but still an amount I cannot let go.

I have contacted Paypal on various occasions when the emails were received. currently the seller has 7 more days to respond before paypal makes a decision.

I do understand that I failed to research the source properly, I was naive to think because he represented a shop that I was in a green area.

Small claims never get anything done, especially from my location.

thanks for all the info!

i got scammed from this guy also! on 3/21/09 i drove all the way from MA to NJ to purchase the silvia front end from Wess (seller) CCP Motorsports in NJ. when i left his place i forgot to grab the headlight brackets which was suppose to be included with the conversion as stated on his f/s post. i called him and he promised he would ship it up to me the following monday. i even paid extra for shipping through paypal for him to ship it to me. he been ignoring my calls/text and still haven't provided me a tracking number or received my headlight brackets. also has been reported to paypal. BAN this guy! for $34 for shipping just to destroy his reputation on zilvia and now nico also??? I never got my headlight brackets or my refund either. FAIR WARNING, DONT BUY SH^T FROM THIS GUY!

I belive this is the same guy who drove all the way down to my boys in Alabama, and stole all types of parts. My boy had to go to work, so he told him to just grab what he paid for. My boy came back, and half his car was gone.

Oh wow, people like him make sellers on forums look bad, I would beat him with a big peice of pipe with a pipe cap on the end.

Ive sold maybe 5k or so in items and a car which I shipped, I've never been late, never failed to return an E-mail and have never scammed anyone, Most people are like me and good sellers. It's little worthless pricks like this that give us all a bad reputation and make buying things over the internet a pain in the a**. I hope you guys get your $$$ back.

maaaaaaaan I ran into similar problem couple years ago when I was in Phoenix, I drove to LA and took care of it my self after the police and payal would not do a damn thing. I hate to say this and I'm not a violent person, but there are some people out there that they wont get the message with claims and civilized words but with a nice official bat

That looks familiar, 91k's doesn't user E-7s14 also use that silly sig? it matches his/her avatar better.
