Has anyone here scaled their CA18DET before they put it in there car to see how much it weighs? I just cant seem to find any accurate weight figures that also tell what was on or off the engine when weighed

I supposedly weighs a little less than an SR, but I think it's BS. I've had my CA in a stock S13 and a stock S14 and they both gained at least an inch of ride height in the front from the lack of weight. I've never seen an SR do that.

Thats why I want actual numbers. Here http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=125246 it states the the SR weighs 366 lbs and thats without a transmission. I've read the the CA weighed 389 with transmission but there was no extra notes about it so there was no way to tell what accessories, if any were attached to it.

Well, if it weighs as much as a duck, then it floats because it's made of wood, and thus,,,,,A WITCH!

You could build a simple lever and with a little math figure out how much it weighs.

By the way, I'm one that's obsessed with weight if that hasn't already became obvious. Maybe it's because I'm a self-conscience fat man, lol. Oh, and I love to laugh at myself.

My bike has 8hp and I am no longer 160lbs. Talk to me about power to weight concerns.
