Nice man! About to install my BC’s w/swift springs on Wednesday. Are you installing any additional components for the suspension besides the coilovers? I didn’t purchase a toe kit, hopefully I can get it all within spec...parkstr8r wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 11:45 amAfter some miscommunication and such...they arrive on Monday. They had a backorder due to parts on their end being delayed in manufacturing. They were great and gave me a few upgrades for my long wait - so I'm very happy with the company at this point.
Can't wait to get them installed - hopefully next week. Hopefully it will balance out the handling and ride without making it harsh to live with on a daily basis.
I'm not going to drop it that much - just enough to reduce the wheel gaps but still look relatively stock. I'm more interested in the handling...
I'll post once I'm done with before and after pics.
I do not know the cost of the camber kit, but I reckon no more than $300. I would do it while installing the lowering hardware so that you don't have to pay/utilise labor two different times to work in the same area. Do it all at once and get it all aligned at once.Malbec 56 Beast wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:55 pmI keep hearing contradictory statements about this from you need the rear camber kit no matter what, to you can drop it up to 2" before you need the rear camber kit. My tires are expensive and I done want to screw them up.

Wow you're lucky! They gave me absolutely nothing with the constant mishaps that I had to deal with beyond the lack of customer service and the wait time. Glad they are taking care of you as a customer. What upgrades are they offering you?parkstr8r wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 11:45 amAfter some miscommunication and such...they arrive on Monday. Andy like I said you'll need the toe arms for sure. Camber arms would be nice but if you dont want to spend the money you don't have to.Malbec 56 Beast wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 4:55 pmI keep hearing contradictory statements about this from you need the rear camber kit no matter what, to you can drop it up to 2" before you need the rear camber kit. They are about $400 or so for the rear kit. I'm only thinking about dropping it 1-1.5" all the way around.
What do you all think on this. I have the BC'S with the V8 swift springs.
Let me know
Andy
For whatever reason i prefer the SPC over Megan Racing for adjustments. The best deal i could for all 6 rear arms from SPC was a little under $400 shipped.EdBwoy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 05, 2018 6:19 pm

The reason is that whether you are lowered or not, at some point your suspension components will age to the point of being maxxed out on adjustment. At this point, if you get your alignment checked regularly, a good shop will let you know that you are approaching your limit and even though you are "within spec", your tires will start getting chewed up due to camber wear.
That all happens to all stock cars at factory height. Lowering only accelerates this wear/shortens the age, so I would get that camber kit now to be proactive and buy yourself time before you need to replace everything.
