I haven't seen much on these coilovers; I think only one person on here has them that I know of and he's not replied to anything.

I like that these have height marks right on the sleeves for easy adjustment. I may get these over BC just because of that. If anyone has info or knowledge on this brand please share.

I plan to get these instead of BC's now that I know they work on M56x's. The marks are a HUGE help.

The marks are good for a starting point but many cars aren't perfectly even anyways. Plus if you are really going for handling, corner balancing is key and will make the height vary slightly.

I don't know man; from my experience doing coilovers on my old RX7, having those marks would have saved me a lot of time dialing in the ride height. Lift the car, remove the wheels, adjust, put the wheels back on, lower the car, measure, repeat. It took a while; and with my OCD to get it perfect within a millimeter at all four corners, yeah it took a while.

Ilya, when are you doing your suspension? I noticed SCALE also has a Swift Spring upgrade; I'm wondering if it's worth the extra money and what spring rates to go with. BC lists 12/08 F/R for their Swift Spring upgrade.

I got a quick reply back from SCALE about their spring rates;

Standard: 14kg Front & 08kg Rear /// Swift Springs and Low Version: 16kg Front & 10kg Rear.

So if you had to lean to one side or the other. Knowing these cars weren't really built for cornering like the 370/G60 per say. I'd say more built towards luxury ride with some occasional spirited driving. Which coilover would you go with? BC or Scale?

Whenever my stock stuff starts to go bad. I'm at about 96kmi right now...so I'm guessing within the next 25-35kmi.

I have Scale coilovers and installed them about three weeks ago. Took about 9-10 weeks to get the set of coilovers and an additional two weeks to get everything straightened out since they installed the wrong top hats and bottom forks on the rear coilovers. I know two other people that ordered from Scale and they messed up their orders as well, but they were able to resolve their issues. Just be forewarned.

It's been since three weeks since I installed them and overall I'm happy with it. I've been playing with the damper settings and I can feel the difference. We initially set the damper to 6 (out of 12) and then a couple of days later I set it to 12 to see what it felt like at the hardest level. I ended up dialing back to 4, and honestly it feels about where OEM is.

Good review on the CS, glad they at least resolve their issues.

Hey wideopen how are you liking your ride?

I currently have the standard 14kg and 8kg spring rate, it is soft but at times can be a bit bouncy sometimes. To anyone looking to purchase Scale in the future, I would recommend something slightly more stiff to reduce the bounciness.

Anyone have this setup with a different spring rate? Being that CRV_33 said the 14/8kg spring rate was bouncy, has anyone tried a different rate? Was thinking about going with a 16/10kg maybe that would be stiff enough to stop the bonce feeling.

Check the front page of NICO; I did a full review of SCALE.

http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/scale- ... -m37x.html

I wouldn't say my spring rates are bouncy; they are stiff. The whole car moves over dips and bumps. There is very little travel and it settles right back to flat almost instantly.

Thanks to you, I just bought and installed my scale coils also. I did not get the "Low" version, just the regular version to bring it to a lowered, but still kinda stock/flush look.. insane pleased with it. With the wheel spacers, it's ridiculous. Totally more aggressive look to the car.
