Hey there everyone,

Long time no post. As you can probably tell from the title, the Altima is no longer in my possession. I traded her in.

Like many former Altima Coupe owners, I'll check in from time to time, and try to share some wisdom from my experience with the coupe.

But for now, with no further delay in introduction, here is my new whip.

I also have some parts for sale. I'll post a separate FS thread for those.

Damn dude. Sucks to see another OG leave the A/C family. But hopefully you'll enjoy the new ride.

Yeah man. Needed a change. I did almost everything I could to the Altima without installing aftermarket forced induction. Now I have a new (albeit somewhat pricey) toy to mess around with. And of course, the GTI comes equally distributed with 6m/t and 6a/t.

Pro tip, I grabbed the 6m/t.

I'll still be part of the community like a lot of the OG's whose coups have come and gone. I wont forget you guys. You helped me a lot through some weird mod set backs and gave me some great advice. And of course, we can't forget the good times with people photoshopping AlexM's car and saying it was theirs, and the one guy who was "TOTALLY GETTING THE TE37'S BRO".

Ahhhh, what good times.

Lol, you should get on our FB page then. You know he owns a 370Z now? AND it's the same color as yours, I think.

UGGGGGGHHHHH.

I'm going to have to go start some s*** now. He deserves an out-of-warranty BMW 3-series, not my 370.

Is it the NICO Altima coupes page?

Now that I see it, I can't get in there. Sad times. Unless LBC is still actively managing the page... I'm not sure he is. I might have to ping him on FB and see if he can make one of us the admins for the group.

Do you know who runs the Nissan altima coupes fb group? Not the nico one. We need another admin in there to clean up lol

If it's not a NICO affiliate, I'm not sure who would be running. I can investigate, however :)

Ah. Another thing nico members are good at. Investigating. I've never seen information dug up quicker than on this forum.

Funny you said that; to experience a 3-series is to know how bad that is. Wife had a 2007 BMW 328i that we traded about 10 months ago; had it right under a year, and during that it: starter $850, radiator $700 (I would have done the work, but I wanted the mechanic to make sure that was the only thing leaking), Brake job (I did the work) $600, water pump (electric) and thermostat (was going to do the work) but then the half shaft separated from the deferential one 7 degree January morning when my wife was coming home from work. Hammered it back in, topped the differential fluid off (that started slowly leaking too; very small quarter size drip on the garage floor.) and took it and traded it in. BMW stands for Break My Wallet; even if I were loaded I wouldn’t want the expense of maintaining those things. Btw OP congrat’s on the new car.

Yeah. Brian still runs it but he's too busy with the little kiddo he just made

Should put someone else as admin there, a little more aactive. *cough* me *cough*

I haven't been around here for a while, but I just had to comment because I called out the guy copying AlexM and I no doubt called out the RAYS dude before (his name is Chuck). I also have bad-talked him on the Facebook group, good times all around.

Anyways, nice call with the GTI, I will be going with a Golf R when they come out because I really want that 4motion!
