Sorry to hear, be sure you stop in from time to time.

I would lean towards the 350, I am just not too appealed to the 370.

if your ok with used, get a 335i BMW used, cheaper then the 370Z.... 335i says 300 HP but its actually 350 HP and with a tune from vishnue, it'll be at 430 HP.... its RWD, perfect weight distribution, amazing handling, same on gas as our 3.5se altima coupes, FREE maintenance! you can get the warranty extended to 150,000 miles! and for people who say the warranty will be voided after the ECU tune, get it on a held hand programmer and swap the tune out to the factory one when you go in for maintenance... BMW does everything for free except tires.... FREE oil change, FREE brake job, FREE everything.... if i had a few extra thousand laying around, i'd sell my coupe and get a 335i... even though i love my altima coupe... the potential in the 335i can not be ignored. i mean a freaking ECU tune and your at 430 HP!!! 370Z wont do that for you....

Well it sucks to see your AC go . I always liked your car. I understand you though. You have to put your priorities first and an education will take you very far in life. Goodluck with lawschool brother. One Mr_Coupe will be leaving, but I'm here to stay for a while. I'll be here even after I buy my GT-R next year because my AC isn't going anywhere. I say go for the 370 Z. The 350Z's have been done already. You turn your head and you are more then likely going to see one. The 370 Z hasn't been done yet. I live in CALI and still here they are rare to see.

lol i think thats out of his price range till hes done with law school.... but for about 1/3 the price of the GT-R (same price range as the 370Z) you can have the 335i BMW pretty much as fast as a GT-R in a straight line and also very good handling (i'm not going to lie and say it will handle like a GT-R lol)... best option is a 335i... it's better then everything else in every way.

for less then $1,000 you can get an ECU tune that will boost the power to 430 HP.... thats without getting intake or full exhaust or anything.... the car is probably super restricted so after the tune if you go full exhaust system you'll probably get crazy gains too.... its pretty safe to say that with just a tune and full exhaust system, you'll be at about 450 HP. the GT-R has 480 HP but weighs about a billion and half pounds plus drivetrain loss from it being an AWD.

The Nismo 370Z is freakin' awesome!!! We've had a few of them in our shop and they are beautiful cars. I would not change anything on the outside of it. I'd lower it and maybe swap wheels and walk away. Everything else on the exterior is perfect!!!

However, there are some downsides to modding the 370Z. The most powerful intake on the market for the 370Z is our Gen. 3 long tube design which protrudes through the front core support. The problem with this is that the 370Z Nismo edition comes with a chassis stiffening support brace in that exact area that prevents the intakes from fitting.

Also, the 370Z's have been known to have a problem with their engine oil temperatures getting excessivly high (240-260+ range) when pushing the car hard for an extended period of time (10-25 minutes or more.) We offer an auxillary oil cooler BUT...This also won't fit because of that support brace.

Just a couple things to keep in mind when making your decision. I personally love the Nismo 370Z and would love to own one but I would be prevented from buying one because I would want to add those two parts to it.

you can't go by horsepower though in all situations. i know a lot of owners who have tuned there 335i/xi with full boltons that can only hit 4.1-4.4

i have only seen one member hit a 3.8, but thats just one!

but either way, the 335i is fast enough, but when you tune it/ chip it and whatever else, you would end up with one beast car, but im not sure if its capable of being better than a GTR unless you swap out everything in that engine and forge it, but we're talking about spending a lot!!! of money

theres a few 335i BMWs in the 11's (1/4 mile) with just a tune and a couple bolt ons. GT-R does 11's in the 1/4 mile so its pretty much right there with the GT-R in straight line performance. GT-R might still beat it but not by much.... GT-R will probably get a better 0-60 because of its AWD system but from a roll i THINK (not sure but think) a 335i with some bolt ons and a tune could beat a GT-R..... but they're not even in the same class and if someone has the money for a GT-R they should get it. but 335i compared to 350Z Nismo or 370Z or 370Z nismo, the 335i is such a better car.

I've always been a sucker for an evo X. I know i'll probably get alot of crap about it but I just love them and the possibilities are endless. I feel like all I see in these car magazines is the evo X. Saw a 370z in black today and it is one sexy car.

get an evo and put a nissan badge on it so u can stay a member of nico

well the 370z is better than the 335 according to tests onlinei, but i personally would take the 335i or xi because it's got the twin turbos and such a powerful engine inline 6 3.0 twin snails, you can't top that engine!

i love love love my 370z's but i am devoted to 335's lol! i even convinced my mom to get one!!!

but seriously, go for the 370z, i love it and it is such an awesome car for the money and it is drop dead gorgeous!

i never knew the nismo 370z could be such a pain with some of these aftermarket parts, i kinda don't like it as much in a way, but it is still a sexy car as well.
