Chrysler builds a good truck. Cummings builds an excellent diesel. Nissan wants to expand into the truck business and Chrysler needs a new basis for their truck line. I'd love to see a Titan with a Cummings option.telcoman wrote:I sure hope they stay away from Infiniti?

What a bunch of
Nissan should team up with Toyota to improve fuel efficiency, not with Chrysler to "improve" recalls/maintenance requests.

Mazda is making great cars now. Of course they are lacking the rx7(you can't win them all). But they have a nice line up of good looking reliable cars that always get good reviews. I would drive a Mazda 3(preferably a speed model).telcoman wrote:

I had a 74 RX4 that flew. At 100 MPH it still had plenty more to go but I was too nervous to go faster on public roads. That Rotory engine was awesome but not fuel efficient.TeflonG35 wrote:

Sorry to tell you this, but Ford is involved in the design/engineering of the new Nissan VQ38HRVVTS engine that the 2011 G will probably get. 400HP/320TQ and 38 MPG Hwy. It features "Alternate Cylinder Firing" (ACF) that is supposidly the greatest advancement in fuel economy technology in the last 30 years. It is also said to be the smoothest running ever made, with a new and undisclosed balancing system that powered by the exhaust gasses.telcoman wrote:

Nissan is already teamed up with Toyota.Sentientbydesign wrote:Nissan should team up with Toyota to improve fuel efficiency, not with Chrysler to "improve" recalls/maintenance requests.

ROFL... wow, no wonder my meter was pegging off the chart. Those guys at the ... um ... Federation Of Reasearch Designers do some weird Area51-type work. The technology usually creeps into our daily lives eventually, without us ever knowing...rn79870 wrote:

Federation Of Reasearch Designers.
I'm hoping the ACF (Alternate Cylinder Firing) will be a mod we can add to our Gs.
It's suppose to fire something like 1-1-5-5-2-2-4-4-3-3-6-6.
Renault owns 44% of Nissan's share, and current president is from Renault.adren77 wrote:Isn't Nissan already teamed up with Renault?
