As you may have guessed from the title...I saw The Bourne Supremacy, and it kicked some major ***. Nothing I love better than a good car chase, and this movie was also much darker in tone than the first one.

You certainly don't forget what Jason Bourne was trained to do.

The fight scenes were fast, raw and brutal.

Anyone else see it?

I saw it Sunday and have to say I wasn't very impressed. It was good enough, being a sequel and all.

I actually thought the car chase scene suffered from the shakey camera effect. I would have like to have ahd the camera farther back so more action could have been seen.

Do you think they left it open to a 3rd movie?

The shaky camera thing was definitely prevalent in the movie. To me, it made the fight scenes and the car chase seem more "real" and violent.

As for a sequel...well, there is a third book. Actually, another author just recently wrote a new Bourne book.

I really like how they delved in to Bourne's darker side in this movie. He'd better hope that he can never remember all the stuff he's probably done.

Camerawork annoyed me, but it was a good movie...the beginning almost ruined the whole movie for me though, so sad and frustrating :(

The third book is Ultimatum. In the books, Marie and David Webb/Jason Bourne actually get married (she doesn't die) and have kids. Most of Webb's/Bourne's conflicts are with the jackal. Webb/Bourne has multiple personality syndrome.

I think Identity was way better than Supremacy (the movies). New director sucked. There were too many plot points that were unnecessary, like when he visited the last Treadstone assassin, why did he have to track what's her face to the US? Just to let her know he's good at what he does? Not that great, but worth seeing.

A decent movie but overall I think it was hamstrung by the director's insistence of adding grittiness and realism by using the herky-jerky handheld camera effect that rendered some of the great action sequences damn near unwatchable. I'm glad Brian Cox's role has been expanded in this movie, the man's probably the most underrated actor in Hollywood. Great supporting cast, decent action sequences make up for the storyline's lack of intrigue. I preferred the first one for it's spare and tight storytelling, but found this one just as enjoyable.

It was alright, not as good as the first. As everyone else has said, the camerawork was a bit annoying. It really didn't follow the book very well. It was good and entertaining, but not great. I give it *** out 5.

mmmms Idunno about you guys but I walked out of the theatre thinking "thank god I didn't put any money down to see that movie" (Me and my friends always ask the local theatre manager for free tickets and 9 times out of 10 we do....this time she told us we had to guess her birthday month, so I said October and it was lol.) It was entertaining, a little, though the fight scenes were unwatchable. The car chase was pretty darn impressive, but overall I thought the movie was terrible.

The fight scene in the house gave me a headache because I couldn't tell what was going on and it was so damn blury. The chase was a bit too long in my opinion, but really pretty cool.
