Saw an arch in my engine bay....

Alright, I've seen this happen twice, MAYBE three times since I've owned my 240 so I know I"m not crazy and seeing things. The first 2 times I had the hood up and only thought I saw something through the little crack under the hood from the drivers seat. I shut the engine off both times, and grabbed somebody to look at the engine bay while I started it and started it several times with them around and they saw nothing. Then one time while I was having my dad start it a few days ago and I was standing in front and saw it, and saw the general area it was coming from.

The engine is a KA-E, and I saw the arch on the back side of the intake mani. I looked back there and didn't see any electrical connections, or any wires that had rubbed bare, just a screw on a newer hose clamp on one of the fuel lines I think. Does anybody have any ideas what it could be? I know my grounds are crap and are going to be replaced but is it maybe that something is arching across to that little hose clamp?

hmm, sparking?, maybe arching is another term for it i dont know. anyways. ya i would hook up some grounds and see what happens. also make sure all youre plug wires are intact with no rips etc. is it only when cranking? could be one of the wires on the starter check those out.
