Too bad a "good" 40k porsche is from like 1993.

i don't know about you guys, but i see porsche, Supra, corvette everywhere, to me, it's just another car. I want to see more daily driven NSX and vipers. Living in SoCal makes it not that exciting when encountering rare cars, maybe it's because california got all kind of cars here.

TRUE TRUE

I saw a bunch of "rare" cars in L.A. I never saw too may rare cars when I lived in San Diego. But the bulk of the time I lived there, I wasnt into cars. Now that Ii know my cars and am on the look out, i odnt see as many when I go back to Cali:(

hahah.. It is just fine driving on the right side. I own a silvia that is rhd and the only problems i have is passing ppl. especially trucks. getting the mail is deffinetly a good thing now. Other than that, it took about 10 min. of driving to get used to it. Shifting with your week hand is different too. While drag racing 3rd gear is a *****. Just have to slam it in and make sure it sticks.

My next purchase will be an r32 skyline. I like the body style and there isn't as much electronic chit on them like the r-34's. latta

every other rich dude in my neirbor hood has either a bmw, porche, vette (well really just old rich dudes), or any other cookie cutter rich persons car. Not to say that i wouldnt want any of those, its just, i would take a R32/R33/R34 GTR anyday over the seemingly endless masses of german luxury sports cars in my area.

even if i had tons of money, i don't think i'd ever buy one of those yuppy cars. i'd have to spend my fortune on fixing and tuning a car up. imagine the possibilities.

if I had 20,000 to blow, i would most likely get a Z32. Damn those are sexy. I am thinking about cancelling my RB20 order, selling my 240 and saving the RB20, sale money and saving more to get a Z32TT. It would be worth the wait.

depth perseption, i was down in the virgin islands and they all drive on the left side of the car but also on the left side of the road, it is really friggen scary cause you cant tell how close you are to the other cars going in the oposite direction (plus the roads were skinny there)

I also have a sick fetish for Z32TTs. Just too much money to find one in good condition.

Your car is road legal? Or are you just tempting fate and crossing your fingers? Not flaming, just curious...

for the money, id much rather have a porshe or supraTT..
Skylines are readily available in the US, they're called G35's. I believe you have mistaken regular Skylines with Skyline GT-R's..
spec-v5150 wrote:Yeah I hear that. I am not skyline happy anymore. I like my s13. Besides I can have Skyline power in my 240, so why bother???
Add Skyline power to your S13! Hell, even slap on a Skyline emblem if you wish. But no matter what, your S13 is still.. a S13.

Saying this makes me look like a gloating arse but...

I saw two Skyline GT-R's on my way to work this morning, and one on the way back, as well as three or so GTS-t's.

They're very common here, but still have mucho respect.

My mate's cousin has a R34 GT-R. He says that no-one, not even executives in their Porches will run him at the lights.:D

thats because every single stoplight they come to has some crackhead in the next lane that wants to race.

that, or they dont want to spill their latte.

truth is...it's always a race your cousin would want to race, because odds are the other driver can only utilize about 75 percent of their car.

put me in a 911 and the tires will be bald by 12:30.

Never thought i would see this in Northern VA (DC Metro Area). These are pictures from the Lake Fairfax Meet (Held by Import Expression People). R33 TommyKaira, and 2 R32 GT-R's. It was so amazed when we got onto route 7 and i was crusing next to Skylines in the US.
