Yea it aint legal. Unless Motorex is keeping a secret(Which I highly doubt).

Gotta have dealer plates. There's a few jdm cars runnin around like an Evo 3(I think its that one). Kinda nice to have the luxury to drive an S15 though.

anywho.

if this is the same s15 i think it is (i'm pretty sure it is), the same company brought in a r32 gtr and a r33 gts as well.apparently they were all legal, but like i said, i have my doubts.

did this car have a wing or not?

Actual rules aside, can't you pay someone off and be able to drive just about anything? How do you go about getting a vehicle assigned a VIN anyway? New cars already have them, etc.. I mean, you can get anything, and I mean anything, to pass inspection with enough cheese changing hands.

You can have a real S15 with regular plates and it be legal, it's called a Show car. You just can't drive it more than 2000 miles a year.

On another note, my friend (who doesn't know cars at all) calls me up today and is like "DUDE, DUDE!!!, I'm behind a Skyline in traffic!!!"

After explaining to him that I highly doubt it, and trying to figure out what exactly he was really behind, it turns out it was a G35 Coupe with JDM badges LOL. Oh well. It got his attention! I was like "well, that kinda is sorta a Skyline, but it's not the GTR like you thought it was."

I've been behind a Skyline in traffic. And alongside one. And facing towards one at a stoplight.

Then again, MotoRex ain't too far from here, and I've been by there a few times as well

Well so have I. Multiple times actually. And I don't even live in CA. I didn't tell my friend there was no way he was behind one, I told him I found it highly doubtful. I was correct in the end, when I determined it was a G35 by his description.
