Sportier suspension, and a bit lighter... the SRT-8 will have a 6.1 (ugh) Hemispherical in it. 425 HP isn't anything to sneeze at...Florida240sx wrote:I hate the charger. It's just a magnum with a trunk.
Uh, the Goat has always been a big family car with a big motor. I think the new GTO embodies the old school A-bods (LeMans, Tempest, GTO) very well.raging panda wrote:but i think the same about the new GTO, nice car but......not a gto.
actually its more like a smaller sportier version of the 300. The rental car company i work for is like 80% Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, we see all kinds of these things. I wonder if there are going to be as many recalls on these as there are for the magnum/300. I already know of 1 transmission TSB involving the automatics.Florida240sx wrote:I hate the charger. It's just a magnum with a trunk.
I agree heredft24ds wrote:The new "charger" is a joke. Why would Dodge do this to themselves and put a 6 cyl in a big a** car and call it a charger? Its a disgrace to all charger fans everywhere.Yes there is some that come with 8cyl but it still nothing compaired to the old school. Hopefully next year when the SRT comes out it will be better with a little more.. omph
I thought the original Chargers sold to the public were more like muscle cars but with nicer ammenities.grimple1 wrote:The Charger was the stripped down, no frills, balls-to-the wall street rod.
Because american sedans have been offered with 6 and 8 cylinder motor options since the beginning of time.dft24ds wrote:The new "charger" is a joke.
