Happened to be driving around this past weekend, and saw a 240SX at a used car lot near Allentown, PA.
The car was a gold coupe. Here's the VIN:
JN1HS34P7KW024434
I tried to decode the VIN, but couldn't figure out what year the car was. The rest of the VIN decodes as a 240SX coupe with passive restraints, auto transmission and the SOHC KA24E engine.
The car was $1095 "as is". I didn't talk to anyone at the lot. The exterior was in decent condition. No major dents or signs of a collision, paint was average with some fairly deep scratches on the trunk.
There was no spoiler, but instead one of those ugly luggage rack things on the trunk.
I don't know if the car runs, but it seemed like a good straight chassis. I noticed some crinkling and slight rusting of the welded area below the driver side door; it looks like someone messed it up trying to jack up the car with the emergency jack...not a big deal.
The interior is an ugly brown-ish color. The car had the Active Speaker thing, but the head unit was missing. Some idiot also painted some words (can't remember what) on the plastic below the spot where the radio shoud be.
Drivers side seat bolster is totally shredded.
Mileage looked like 128K, but couldn't get a really good look.
I didn't run the VIN or talk to anyone at the car lot, but it looks like it might be a nice project/swap car if you could get the price down. I'd call the interior and exterior of the car "average condition" for a higher mileage car.
I don't know if the seller is reputable...just wanted to let fellow NICO members a heads up about this car.
