Its cool, but overpriced has no soul. I'd rather have a pair of Corvettes or an XLR.

I've riden in an XLR. I would rather have a NSX just for the shear excitement you can get out of it. The auto transmission (no manual option) in the XLR does it no justice whatsoever. They are amazing riding cars, but, NSX all the way.

What's so different about a 2003 NSX vs a 2002? It's an nice car,and there are several around here too, but IMHO Acura hasn't improved it enough to justify the high sticker price.

An Acura literally is a marked up Honda.

There's more refined, more fun, faster, and better-looking cars out there for that kind of cash. An NSX would make a nice "extra" if you already owned everything that compares to it for under $60k. It fails as a wannabe exotic, its overdone as a street car.

Honda forgot that people have souls, and so should cars.

The difference, Bubba, that I know of for sure is a minor front facsia change. '03 has projector type headlights as opossed to the '02 w/ the flip ups. The rear ends are different, minor interior changes I think, and *maybe* a little engine tuning.

I'd rather have the pop ups from the 2k. Dunno just something about popups;).

NSX is supposedly as docile as any other car to drive in traffic and on a daily basis until pushed to it's limits. Plus it's gorgeous.

I wouldn't say it "lacks soul" though. Granted it doesn't have the charisma of a Ferrari or Porsche, but...

Thanks, 95. So the engine/chassis and basic body style haven't changed...again. The NSX is rapidly becoming the Lotus Esprit of the 21st century. Nice car, but so little has changed since it was first introduced, except the sticker price. I liked the Esprit when it was first introduced, but after 20 years of lookng exactly the same, I barely notice them. Hard to get excited over an NSX for the same reason

Honda's products, in their look and feel (NSX an exception for looks) tend to go nowhere in terms of offending and inspiring anyone.

An Acura RL feels just smooth enough without being numb, and just slow enough to not be all that fast. Honda says that Everything is engineered to prevent you from knowing the car exists, so all the mechanics work together quietly without you being too aware of them. Most consumers see this as a positive... and I can understand why. A design philosophy such as this keeps you from ever being annoyed by the car, until you become annoyed with its lack of personality. Its like dating a pretty good looking girl with nothing much to say.

I drive for joy, and for just under 100k I want a LOT OF JOY. It would serve the NSX well if Honda decided to make performance a higher priority... but sadly the same principles involved in creating the Accord make their way into this so-called exotic.

The only thing exotic is the look and layout."Fast neat car" yes."Exotic" not really.

You can put an inch-thick layer of makeup on an ugly chick with three eyes. In the end, shes still ugly and she still has three eyes.

I didnt get much sleep so I hope that all makes sense.

The reason why it hasnt changed much is b/c it's too good to be improved on.

Thats not true. There's so much room for improvement its ridiculous. Apparently an unwritten agreement among japanese carmakers keeps them from exceeding certain performance specs on certain cars. There's SO much that can be done in terms of engineering and performance on a $90k car.
