History: Picked her up about 5 months ago for $450 or so. She's definatly seen her better days, and i think it was broken in to through the passenger side rear window, and the guy must have hit a deer because the front fender was all banged up, the door had a good size ding, and the rear panel has a nice ding.So it definatly needs some work, but i figured i'd save another vert instead of getting a mint one.

I figured i would make a build page over here, maybe i can get some of my questions answered in it to!

On to the pictures:When i first brought her home. Now that shes getting worked on.

One of my big problems is right here, the top is broken. I need to figure out how i am going to fix this, any suggestions would be freakin great!

and the daily drivers

I have big plans for her.Currently i have:90% of the turbo parts, I'm starting to put her together now. I plan on running about 8-10psi. (will be updated later when i get her together consult softwarerear bumper/side skirts17" rims (got them dirt cheap, figured they would be great for winter rims if need be)and i have coilovers I'm putting on tonight.

And i am working on getting rear over fenders, new passenger fender, fixing the top/getting a new rear passenger window/ all the rest of the turbo parts.

Also, all the rear seats are going bye bye and i am making a cover/cubby in the back. It's hard to explain, but i'm already working on it.

There will also be a car-puter that i can run my diagnostics off of at all times.

Feel free to leave comments and suggestions!

UPDATE!!!!

New fender/new passenger doorNew rimsSparkle SparkleNo more pillars!!

UPDATE!!! 8-16-08And with a BUMP to the top and an update because i finally dropped a bunch of money to start finishing it...

New items: To many to list. I am just about done with everything I need to get, now comes all the manual labor.

Say BYE BYE sound deadening. Rust is all being taken care of, and everything is going to be repainted, and new dynamating will be put down.

oh man, shes fat in the back. HOLLER AT J-LO!

a little 'glimpse' of the wheels/tires going on...

FMIC Mounted up (going for stealth with the black) Fender was off to make sure we didn't mess it up during intake removal Intake manifold off, exhaust manifold off. Getting ready to lift up the motor and pull off the oil pan to tap it for the oil lines. The engine bay is going to be resprayed also.

Big mess of fenders and other parts

More to come this week, we are finally cruising on this!Bryan has been coming over frequently and we have been getting to work on both our cars!

Coilovers were SOLD, I am purchasing a higher-grade set soon. Sold them to Bryan so I could finish ordering all the parts needed to make the car move.

And up with a slight update...Sorry for everything being so dusty, I had to cover it up with a dusty old tarp.

Plus we have been doing boatloads of body work in the shop lately.

ignore the fender fitment, they aren't bolted down yet.

More to come

Small update again:

Small Update. Finally took the cover off of the vert for a couple days, getting ready to work on her again!Ontop of that, I just purchased a 1993 BMW E36.

a car for 450? I would do anything for a car for $450, expecially if its a 240sx. You cant even buy a mower at Sears for $450

Thanks guys! Its nice to see some people finally posting in here besides myself!

Tomorrow I have to fix my truck in the morning, and then after that more work time on the vert.

Temps in the 60s Thursday! So I plan to have the whole exterior put together by then! Then its just assembling the motor and plopping it back in!

Silver should look great, in the pics it looks little champagne-ish. Did you spray the car yourself?
