The radiator recently just gave up in the 90Q. I was on the verge of parting out. Seriously was. I wasn't going to spend money on a new radiator.

Dr. Q sent me one very cheaply after I determined that one from Wes might not work.

Well, the radiator arrived the other day, and we put it in last night. Went on a test run with my son. Smooth.

The Q is back on the road again with 167 plus. The transmission will still slip in 4th if you don't baby it, but it now has been running for nearly 10k miles that way.

Glad you got the ol Q running... She sounds like quite a trooper, i dread the day when it finally kicks the bucket...

my son drives it in three most of the time...

you have to accelerate in 3, but when you are cruising, you can put it in D..

....if you hit a hill, you have to put it back in 3...if not it will start slipping for a bit....it just won't hold D on medium acceleration.

I may drain the fluid out of it at some point and try Mobil 1.... there are some members that are still convinced that there is something lodged in there causing the slippage.

She's a beast, however. Now in it's 12th year in the family.
