So Im thinking, what is the best cartoon to ever come out of Japan? Intial D, right? I have to go with The Battle of the Planets, which was later called G-Force. So it got me thinking of the days where I use to watch Tom and Jerry, Thundarr the Barbarian and my all time favorite Hong Kong Phooey. What are your favorite Classic Saturday Morning Cartoons?

I'll make something of it! That was totally a girl's show! I did see it every now and then because I was too brain dead to turn the channel. Didn't have a remote when I was a kid!:D

I'm gonna say that Hong Kong Phoey rocked! And I also liked Bionic 6, Spiderman, SuperFriends and Voltron. Yeah, I'm old school.

ExoSquad by far the best cartoon series I have ever seen.

Sadly it only ran for one season, as it was way too intelligently written for it s main audience. While it had tons of explosions+ battles writers really went out of their way to make the plot plausible.

Also the "bad" guys NeoSapiens were smart, dedicated and no jokes, like the bad guys usually ten to be in cartoon.

They were also fighting for a worthy cause.and among the heros, well sometimes like in the real world they die.

And none of that " now the good guys are REAL mad, so suddenly they win", but a long back and forth struggle.Plus some of the bad guys werent so bad and some of the good guys werent so good...

Fred..:)

I watched every cartoon mentioned so far. But my favorites were Smurfs, Transformers, M.A.S.K., GI Joe, Thundercats, He Man, and Looney Toons.

I really don't watch Saturday morning cartoons anymore. I'm usually still in bed. But, I have seen Recess and Filmore.

I would like to say **** THE SMURFS!!! Other than that many good cartoons listed. I do enjoy the japanese animation quite a bit. As noted by my different posts on the subject. Of them I think my favorite is either GTO or Nadesico. Also props to bobbys world.

I remember them. The show was pretty good, but very short lived.

Does anyone remember BraveStar? He as a Native American Sherrif in a futuristic Old West. He had "powers of Hawk, Wolf, Puma and Bear." He also had a horse name 30/30 with huge gun named Sarah Jane.

I know this was not a cartoon, but Land of the Lost was something I use to watch on Saturday Mornings. Then in the evening Buck Rogers.
