Hi Folks,

Anyone here have any experience with Satisfied Brake Pads? Specifically for a 2003 G35 6 Speed. Tire Rack recommends them highly. The specific part number is Grand Sport Six. I see mainly Hawk pads recommended on this site. Thanks for the assistance.

I recommend project mu ns pads first, then hawk, then anything else.
Satisfied pads are a good choice but there are better.

I run project mu on my sedan up front and hawk rear.

You have brembo's?

Red Det,

Yes, I have Brembo's and 49K plus miles on the rotors / pads. I checked the rotors with my run-out gauge and a micrometer. Everything is OK except the pads. Less than 1/4" friction material left all around.

As an update to my brake pad question, I took my car to the Infiniti dealer for its annual inspection. It passed! Went out into the shop and spoke with the servicing mechanic. He told me the pads are fine. "Good for at least another years driving". Wasn't absolutely sure so I returned home and removed the pads from the Brembo's. Gotta admit, he was right. 50k miles and the pads were still at least a quarter inch thick! Sure didn't look that good without being removed. Forgot about the slight ridge worn into the rotor edge. Wow, saved about $200 on new pads. For this year.
