Im thinking of painting my car satin black and was searching on google for some pics of the job done right, and unfortunatly i wasnt able to get any pics that i liked surprisingly.

So i was wondering if those of you who have done a rattle can black paint job could post some pics of your cars so i can see what it looks like. if you have a different color id look at it too, im always open to ideas

Sprayed with Krylon satin black about 8 months ago.

Just paint your car, in my opinion satin black only looks good when it is sprayed on by a spray gun. even a maaco paint job would look better then that.

that would be impossible, because if any paint was done right, its was not done with a rattle can :tisk:

Word. Maybe try a satin black vinyl wrap. :gotme

But that is almost as expensive as just painting it right the first time...

While that's ultimately true, there are some rattle can jobs out there that look really nice and there are loads that look like crap. Mine, I think, is somewhere in the middle, but I'm willing to put up with a little ghetto to make my car look better than it did (and it does) for very little $$$.

*By the way that's not my rattlecan job below. Haven't taken any decent pics yet...

Just paint your car with legit paint, or leave it the way it is. I wanted to black out my car one time, and I'm so glad I didn't. Flat/satin/crap out of a can looks so bad. I'd rather drive my car with primed panels, missing bumper, and 20yr old oxidized paint than paint it "satin black".
