Has anyone had problems with loss signal? I believe something is wrong with the Antenna. Spoke with Sirius/XM who said signal is being directed correctly. Is the dealer the only one who could address/repair the issue? Is there any recalls?

Welcome to NICO!

I've deleted your duplicate posts. Please clarify what you mean by "issues." Is it simply signal loss or or are there other problems?

Unfortunately your signal loss is not an issue due to a possible defective antenna. Buildings, even trees can interfere with signal reception, and there's no fix for that (short of cutting down every tree and knocking down any building over one story tall).

Take a moment to read these threads:
sirius subscription / navigation / no signal
Sirius XM channel graphics
XM "Chan Unavailable" message 2013 Rogue

I have not been able to listen to satellite Radio for a complete minute without the signal going completely out in my 2012 M37. I could drive for 40-60 mins on open road with complete signal loss. Signal is so sporadic that it frightens me when it finally comes lol! And that connection will only last about 30 seconds. I just gave my 2008 G35 to my son which has satellite radio and I never had a problem. I drive in the same areas. Of course there are a few dead spots getting on and off the freeway. I switch off between the 2012 M37 and my SUV with satellite and it works just fine in the same areas.

Ok, so your 2012 M37 has a separate XM Radio receiver module located near the rear of the vehicle. You may have a loose connection between the antenna and the XM module, or the feeder line coming out of the XM module and going to the head unit. Given the age of the vehicle it's entirety possible that the XM module is just failing.

Is replacing the XM module extensive/expensive?

Is the module covered by the upper trunk liner?

I still can't find the xm module to my 2012 m37. I popped the trunk top cover. I took the backseat apart and still can't find it. I found the wire to the antenna and the wire that routes to the module but I don't see it in the trunk nor the backseat. Somebody have a picture of where it is exactly? The diagrams don't do justice at all because it's not where the diagram says it should be.

Where do you live? I live on the west coast and there are many dead spots for my satellite radios in both of our cars - usually hills and buildings block the signal due to the distance of the satellites and the reception angle on the west coast.

Sorry for not getting back to you on this. Here's a diagram showing the XM module location. It's item "E" in the image. Infiniti part # 28051-EH00B (fits 2008-2017 Infiniti M37)

Is your system Navi or Base? If it's Navi then the WD shows no separate XM tuner, it's built into the AV.

So if I have the Navi version I can connect a 3rd party antenna directly from the back of the radio?

That should work, yes.
