Hey Murano faithfull,

I'm in the market for a used Murano ('05-'07) and will hopefully driving one before snow flies in New England!

Question...I've done a little homework on the ipod integration, but have yet to figure out if the units available connect to the radio or the satelite module (the car WILL have satelite, can't imagine a car without it).

There also seems to be an issue with what the factory radio has for buttons, some integration units specify a "sat" button, others say a "cat" or "category" button.

If the unit connects to the satelite module, how do you switch between stelite and ipod?

Thanks for any help. b210

If you get one with the Sat button, then you most certainly can add the satellite receiver if does not already have one. Hit me up if you have any specific questions.

I think you may be able to have both the Satellite and the iPod, but I am not 100% certain. Check with the folks at www.courtesyparts.com

Thanks I.L.

No Murano in the driveway yet...hopefully in the next few weeks. Thanks for the ipod info.

One question though, will this part you mentioned allow for the use of an ipod WITH the satelite receiver?

Thanks again, YB210

Hello all. This is my first post. So I am also, not yet an owner of a Murano, but am going to make a purchase depending on what info I can scratch up regarding iPod integration. I want to purchase an 06 or 07. I've read different information regarding whether the Bose system is necessary or whether it isn't to install an aftermarket iPod adapter.

Per infiniti_lineup's suggestion, I contacted Courtesy Parts regarding the parts infiniti_lineup posted that ought to work with the Murano but the individual I spoke with was unsure of their compatibility. Crutchfield has the following adapter that their customer service person said ought to work without the Bose system. What do you guys think?

I've been spoiled with my current car being iPod integrated and so I can't bring myself to get a different car without the potential of installing an integration kit. Any information you guys can offer would be greatly helpful. Thanks in advance!
