I saw a post on the board before about whether or not the M's are pre-wired for factory Satellite. It was something about the VIN or the date of construction of the car. I have searched for a hour looking for this information. I'm trying to see if my car could have a aftermarket AUX input for a ipod or what have you through this SAT option, but I need to know if my car is pre-wired. Thanks for any help.

as far as i know the M's are not prewired for an AUX-in.. However take that with a grain of salt, but as far as i know they arent.

Yes, they are not pre-wired for a AUX IN but, even if you dont get the tech package, a lot are pre-wired for a Satellite(12 pin port). There is a way to tell if your individual car was or was not and I was wondering how I could tell. Thanks.
