Car: the world's ugliest civic

I was thinking about putting a XM or Sirrus radio in the Q sometime, but I don't like the look of that little antenna that I think you have to stick to the roof.

Do you think it would fit under the spoiler? The fiberglass should be transparent to the signal and I won't have to put an ugly little box on my roof.

Don't know. It might be a good spot. Why couldn't you put it on the glass?

Don't you think there is some steel, in the spoiler, for strength?

I'm pretty sure, I read somewhere that someone placed there's inside the car, as they didn't want the "turtle" on top of the car.

Might try an pure audio forum or just ask the installer if he has any suggestions?

I don't ever plan on taking the spoiler off the car for good, and I have a welder, so I could weld up a small dimple to mount it in under the spoiler.

The trucks I used to work on for super secret squirell gov't agency had satellite communications equipment under a fake air conditioner case on the roof that didn't effect transmissions.
