SAT on my Infiniti

Hi allMy 04 G35 has SAT listed on the panel with Tape, Cd, etc. Im assumeing this means satellite? Now, if this is the satellite button, can I subscribe or have an account activated? Also, if this is a satellite, is there a built-in antenna on the car?Thanks guys & gals.Dan

ya that does mean satellite. i integrated my ipod to the sat button tho.

That sounds interesting. Can you educate me on how you affixed your ipod, was it a simple plug and play, or did you have to do some surgery to the wiring in the dash?Thanks,Danny

You can get satellite radio. If you're the original owner and you didn't get satellite radio when you bought it, you can buy the receiver and antenna and have it installed or do it yourself. The receiver plugs into a harness in the trunk. If you aren't the original owner, then I would suggest looking in the trunk to see if the receiver is there or not. It would be a box under the carpeting and then under the plastic on the left side. If it's there, you can just order up a subscription.

If you decided to go the iPod route, it is plug and play with a little bit of surgery. If you go to http://www.everythingg35.com you can find an iPod adapter with a set of instructions posted. They are a good company to deal with.
