that's a scary thought...I know when I'm ready to pick up the Sarona side skirts, I'll definitely be using my Pay Pal account so if the shipping is damaged, I'll get my money back....m45pham wrote:Sarona used a shipping agency called seko logistics. The packaging could have been a lot better. It was wrapped with a single thin sheet of plastic (not any thicker than sandwich wrap) and stuffed in a large box. When the package arrived, it had two large puncture holes but luckily the fiberglass was unscathed other than a few scratches. You would think paying $199 for handling and shipping, sarona would do a better job.
Please read the link in the FAQ thread where I describe how to upload and post pictures.m45pham wrote:Here are some pics of it out of the box.
"Edit" how do u post pics?
The shipping company opens the package and has you inspect it on the spot. If damaged then you just don't sign off and they return it to sarona. It's a good policy but would be a bummer to have to wait for a new kit.CPJ LB wrote:that's a scary thought...I know when I'm ready to pick up the Sarona side skirts, I'll definitely be using my Pay Pal account so if the shipping is damaged, I'll get my money back....m45pham wrote:Sarona used a shipping agency called seko logistics. Thanks! lol. I spent the last 30 minutes trying to force the thing over the existing oem side skirt. Too bad there hardly is any threads that covers how to install these things.06M4.5 wrote:replace(on oem side skirt)
I'm not sure. The guy that's painting it said he'd install it as part of the deal. Hopefully he does a combination of both. But from what I can see, it mostly bolts up using existing mounts that are already on the car.Wangtang408 wrote:Will you be using double sided tape as well or just screws, how many screws will it take for each part?
Hey Freddie,06M4.5 wrote:You'll need 3M tape at least for the rear spoiler, for the top part that touches or meets the bumper.
