What can you guys tell me about this unit? I saw one on an RB this weekend, and love the sound. Owner says he prefers it a ton over any other BOV...

I currently have a Greddy RS, and it's a pain... Would I prefer the SARD?

I have never heard anything bad about sard products. I don't think they can be recircd. if that was your plan.. or maybe i'm thinking of the wrong BOV. They sure are pretty

Do they make a flange that'll match up to what I have, or do I need to make one?

For the SARD R2D2, all you need is a 1.25" OD (last time I measured mine) flange that you can connect a hose to, similar to the way the stock sr20det bov is set up.

If you buy the s13/s14 specific kit, it comes w/ its own piece of pipe & the hose/clamps you need. The universal kit, you have to come up w/ your own pipe/hose & clamps.

If you wish to recirculate, you actually can - SARD sells a recirculation kit for it that converts that "space ship" looking outlet to a circular 1.25" (IIRC) one.

The SARD unit is said to be very similar/comparable to the Blitz DD BOV in terms of sound/behavior.

I've had mine sitting in my room for the past 2 years still waiting to be installed, haha.

Actually the Sard Bov comes with a little flange thats aluminum that you COULD weld directly into your IC piping. Thats what i was planning on doing at least. It means that you wouldnt be able to sell it without selling your IC piping but.. From what i here of the reviews on the Bov i wont be selling mine anytime soon ^^.

They do make a recirc kit, its expensive however. It changed the whole head on the bov.. You would be better off just buying their high boost Bov that has the recirc fitting built in. I got mine brand new off ebay for 140 shipped. They are kinda rare though, it took me a while to find one on ebay..

don't know if anyone found this but they can be recirculated.

RHDjapan had a kit for it last time I checked. I have one on my rb.
