Hello.
I am in some trouble and I hope someone on this forum can help me.
I have a Nissan Dualis NJ10-012163.

It came with a HDD navigation HS507-A genuine NISSAN (Sanyo NVA-HD7707, B8260-79998, Serial No. 0E700700).

The display language and instruction manual is in Japanese so I cannot understand anything.

I opened it up to see if there was any reset switch which would enable me to choose my language.
I also removed the HDD and hooked it up to my laptop to see what was on it, I found files with unfamiliar extension & some bitmaps in Jaapanese language.

My problem now is after I put it back together I cannot acess the HDD. I can play CD and the AUX input works.

So, can anyone advise me how to get it working again and how I can change the display language to english?

If its a JDM car shipped out anywhere but japan I would bet you can't really do too much to make it display in English. Short or re-writing the software of course.

So how do I get a software or firmware rewrite?
I sure would like to be able to hook up my phone through Bluetooth.
The Japanese manual I have shows the model capable of playing DVD's, accessing Ipod's and USB drives.
None of these things work.
Only 1 radio station plays.
Its frustrating to say the least.
