I've recently picked up a 1986 300zx and I'm now trying to find mechanic recommendations for the bay area. With my previous car, having the right mechanic made all the difference in keeping an older car fun. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks-Steve

The two I found on Google are Dando's in Fremont and Don's Nissan and Z specialist in San Jose. Any experience with either?

I dig the wheels, might want to check zcca.org for your lcal z car club, chances are they know who in your area is well versed in Z's

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try and contact them tomorrow and see what suggestions they have. There is a nor-cal group headquartered just north of San Francisco so I'm sure they can get me close. When I looked at the site, they do Z's and 510's, and I know a 510 racer locally so I'll give him a call as well.

We got the wheels for auto-crossing, it took forever to find something with the right offset so we didn't have to deal with spacers or adapters (I'm sure that is a topic that has been hashed out here for a while).

the 350Z wheels are a popular wheel for the Z31 as they fit without spavers as well
