Bought a Sandstone Sedan S, the SandStone must not be a popular color have yet to see another one in either Sedan or HB. Like it though because it does not show dirt as much as other colors.

It wasn't offered when I got my car.

I don't like that there are colors the Sedan is availble in that the HB is not. Normally, when there are special color choices, they are only on their "flagship" body. Which would be the hatch in this case.

Sandstone and Sonoma Sunset are available only on the sedan.

Sapphire Blue and Red Alert are only available on the hatchback.

Now, I'd love to see the hatch available in a sunburst orange or similar color.

You would think it would be easier to just paint the car rather than reserving it. It's not like the colors are going to a 50k special edition V. The cars are made in the same factory. All they have to do is spray a different color

Spraying is also becoming increasingly a more antiquated method of painting a car at the factory.

Have you seen Hyundai's new setup? The whole car body does a flip through a bath of paint... no spray! And it must certainly cover the body in all the nooks and crannies way better than spraying...

In any case, sometimes when you have a "special edition" color, the car company will charge a couple hundred bucks extra. If there are truly a limited number of cars in that color, it's not a bad deal at all, considering a paint job at a body shop would be what, a couple grand at least? (No, we're not talking Maaco here either!)

I was at the dealer for my 6,000 mile service, and found out the sedan comes in a burgundy color... I almost cried. Burgundy is my favorite color, and would give anything to own a burgundy versa hatch with beige interior.

Hmmmm that is interesting. I would like a burgundy hatch with dark interior to match my truck lol.

I got the 2007 Versa book at the dealer today but it doesn't show the colors for the sedan.
