In that case 400 grit wet will work perfectly. if you are repairing the bumper do not use anything coarser than 180. 80 grit is very coarse and will leave alot of "fingers" and will show through the paint and primer. if you are doing any sort of heavy repair on it use pirahna putty from 3m. its more flexible than bondo or polu putty. it does leave alot of pinholes. so once it is sanded where it needs to be go over the pirahna putty with a very thin coat of polly putty or metal glaze to fill in the holes. I also recommend using a plastic prep spray before you use a filler and before you primer. if you use a d/a to do any sanding use it sparsly and not in any tight spots. but what are you trying to do exactly?
If you need to use a filler use Rage Gold Extreme(its like bondo but way easyer to sand) For priming i would use a Poly Filler(need a air paint gun) to fill any pin holes then sand it down with some 400 grit and then use a around 600 grit to wet sand.
this is me applying the polyfiller primer to fiberglass
