Yesssss! Finally got one dude. years and years of HONDA's my prayers have been answered Project Zeeeeeeeeeee [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Put the car inside and did a quick walk around

[IMG][/IMG]The dash has a small unnoticeable crack by the clock.[IMG][/IMG]comfy seats from a 280z[IMG][/IMG]Carb shots (L28 engine) [IMG][/IMG]What the heck does this do?[IMG][/IMG]This is what I've done:1. New spark plugs and wires2. Emptied and added new fuel3. Charged battery (sitting for a month from previous owner)4. Checked oil (clean5. checked the manual fuel pump to see if the sucka worked, it did.

I attempted to start the car and there was no luck while having the car turning and shooting ignitor fluid in the carbs to help the process. A few loud pops and some bubbling but no start.

Any simple carb tuning tips?

that valve likely went to the stock smog pump, your 73 has carbs fomr a 71-72 and likely no longer has the smog pump, you can remove it, or better swap the ballance bar fomr a 71-72 as it has fewer fittings on it

Thanks I removed the valve and tried cranking it over a few more times... No cigar.

I'm tuning the SU Carbs right now to get this engine idling correctly so I can make it a cool daily driver until I can save up for the RB Transplant! I have some major engine cleaning to do. Degrease and remove all old leaves and debris. More photos to come!
