I just picked up an Infiniti Q45 1998 and I'm looking for a place to change the timing cover, do a tune up and change all the belts...any suggestions??? Thanks.

Plugs and belts can be done by almost anyone. Why do you want to change the timing cover?

A bit of a drive, but I'd highly recommend http://www.jerrytucker.net

Chances are that it's just the front main seal that's leaking - the cover is probably sealed with RTV, which can leak, but not as likely. I'd be more suspicious of oil running down from leaky rocker covers. You might try cleaning everything up with engine degreaser and brake parts cleaner and get a fresh start at isolating the actual leak.

You could also call Marty at Cars 101 in Ventura. Also a drive, but their mechanics were all at infiniti of Ventura until 2 years ago and know the cars inside and out and are very honest.
