Ok guys, let's have a mini meet on the 1st... I believe bunda said he couldn't meet up this weekend, so let's do it next weekend... nothing big, let's just meet up, take a drive through la Jolla or Pacific Coast highway, and have a few drinks...

ok fellas, well for right now, let's plan this for an evening meet, let's say 4:30pm since we definately want to aoomodate everyone...... this way, if we decide to take a cruise, we can cruise Pacific Coast highway near dusk... the scenary is pretty unreal on a cloudless day!

Also I chose the 1st because bunda4th stated in another thread that he wanted to meet up with a few guys, but couldn't do it this weekend... and I'm driving to Phoenix the weekend of the 6th....

so, does 4:30pm sound OK?

Oh yeah, and OC guys, we definately aren't leaving you guys out, we would love for any of you to come down, but we don't want you to feel obligated to come down twice for this mini meet and the real meet set up by Rob Vegan the next month.... but if you're bored, and have nothing better to do, come on down...

to be honest, I would really like to see the SOCAL Altima coupes form our own car club (with meets once / month), and have different chapters... O/C chapter, LA chapter, SD chapter, etc.... the Z's and G's have their oint jcar clubs they we are usually not invited to... but you know what I say to that.. PHUCK EM!!!!

A monthly like weekday meet? Or like a monthly Sunday evening meet? I think we can discuss this too on November first. 4:30 is perfect for the first for me. I been meaning to drive that coast highway too. Just have to be careful near Tamerak, cops always posted there. Not saying we will speed or anything, but 5-6 modded cars = good county income potential lol

ok guys, so I'm going to the vinyl shop when I get a chance and i'm gonna get a custom decal for our SOCAL Altima Coupe car club... I think you guys will like the design I've come up with... this is NOT set in stone as i want input from you guys on what the final name and logo will be, but this is what i have in mind right now



tell me what you all think...

we may end up changing it to more of an Altimas theme, or somehow modify this to include the Altima sedans... the only suggested restriction I have for this car club is that NO Z's or G's EVER be allowed to join...

this is the other option if you all decide to extend the invitation to Altima Sedans as well (I'm in favor of doing that, but we can vote on it on november 1st or better yet, we should vote on it at the December meet since the LA and OC guys will be there also... this will be my final departing contribution to the SOCAL Altimas )

well, I'm gonna get mine in the color of my car, with a white or black outline around the letters... I'll probably play with them a bit with my custom shop and see what looks best.... after you guys vote (remember this is OUR club not mine, so decisions need to be voted on) you can opt to keep this design and get the decal in whatever color you want even match the color to your car!

I do like the idea of the integrated names, looks awesome, but I also think it will be very confusing to someone who does not understand AC.

I like the integrated (sedan and coupe) logo. But ya it does look a little funny if you don't know what it means.

If/when we decide on a logo I have a place over here in East LA County that I have had stickers made before, so I would just need the image and I can get it made myself so that it can match my accents.

however, i wanted to point out something for the record

1. the idea is for the club to be called SoCAL A/C's as in So CAl altima Coupes , hence the 's below the socal... when disigning group logos, you want the logo to catch the eye, but NOT necessarily be easily deicphered at first glance... hence the correct orientation and pronunciation is something that every group member would know, but outsiders would be stuck guessing and asking about.....

this is a common theme done in secret societies and fraternities (I am a member of both)...

I didn't want something plain , but again, this is how my mind thinks and what my mind came up with... hopefully this explanation makes it a bit clearer... remember we don't really care whether outsiders know what the logo means, or whether they even know how to pronounce the group name correctly... what you care about is that when folks see the logo, they know you are a part of that group (whatever it may be) ... PHUCK everybody else.... THIS IS SO-CAL B*TCHES!!!!!!!!!!!
