I'm kind of embarrassed to say; but here it goes.
I have a knock sensor code and an injection leak code being thrown (for quite some time).
I need a mechanic that works Saturdays to fix this, and this is kind of my last resort cause NO body at my work knows anyone.
I am embarrassed that I am not doing it myself, but there is reason to this:
I just got a new position at my company, but it requires 12+ hours a day, mon-fri.
I don't have the technical knowledge to chase down the injection leak in a timely manner.
I can't afford to have my car down on a week day, and I need to get this thing smogged and reg. too (the cat is going out, but I am going to have American Muffler do that work when they give me 2.25 piping).
Any help you all can give me will be appreciated. I picked up a used knock sensor and sunday will attempt to change it myself, hoping thats one less code I have to deal with
Thanks for reading gang!
Oh yea; I live in Mira Mesa.
