Overall the meet was really cool and it was awesome meeting all you guys.

We should start having a monthly or weekly meet like this. Try to get this SoCal Altima going.

Thank you very much, appreciate the complement.

I do have more stuff coming soon. The auto body held my car up way too long. I nearly missed this meet. I did not get a chance to wash my car so it was very dirty. It will be about another week or two in order for me to get the rest of my stuff on and I will be posting pictures as soon as possible.

hmmm, how to respond to this.....

first I would say that the statement itself is not factually correct... I can think of a few other stupid/retarded places to put monitors... say in the rear bumper perhaps...

second, not that i need to explain it to you, but the engine monitor mod was done for free by my local custom shop and was hatched out of a joke... "I wonder how long a monitor would last on the engine bay", we used a spare engine cover, fiberglassed a spot for the new monitor, re-painted it, put in a heat shield between it and the engine, and decided to see how long the monitor would last... that was last December, so its been going strong for about 11 months now... (for the record, I know an IASCA champion that has his subwoofer mounted in his engine bay with a heat shield around it... single best sounding car system i have ever heard!)

lastly, i guess I should have apologized in advance for my lack of creativity when modding my car... I know its not as exciting and creative as saying... "hey guys i spent a whole day putting in blue led's"... but I'm trying, I'm trying...

maybe i'll get more creativity points at the Hot Import nights show if I take out my hyper white LED's and put in some blue ones...

when will you people learn... DOC does mods that others won't/don't do ... I do it to see if it can be done... I do it for creativity points at car shows... but lastly, and more importantly... I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN!

his coupe clowns you and ur cheepo system. END

i guess a screen in the engine bay is not nearly as cool as a cover over your key whole.

cheap? my system is far from cheap.... no one is trying to "clown" or put down anyone. i was simply giving my .02, just like everyone else does.... as for my key hole cover, there's a lot of ppl on here who have plugs to cover up the key hole because it bugs them, and the hole is useless... i just have a cover instead of a plug....

so before you try and make this bigger than what it really is, or needs to be... just give it up, and let it go.... everyone has their own taste, style, and likes different things. otherwise we would all have clones of our cars, looking the EXACT same... his car looks good yea, but IMO i personally don't like the monitor in the engine bay, but to each their own.... "END"

The BC Racing Coilovers are very nice and handling is awesome. All the perch are locked up and the rear have 1 thread left which I will lower all the way soon.

Pretty much there is no gap and if you were to look under my car you will see how low the exhaust/metal plates up front is to the ground. I mean my exhaust pipe (lowest point) scrape and there is a support bar for the exhaust in the center that is all bent.

Thanks bro,Check out Race on usa. Let DJ know that you know Richard and maybe he can take a few bucks off.

As for the headlights, I had them paint the whole housing silver and left the chrome rings. Also took Black and whites advice a while back ago and changed the amber bulb for the chrome (still blinks amber tho).

if you want them, you should get them before february... after february, I head back to finish my last year of medical school, and will have little to no time for nico, my car, or to make any more kickplates... just wanted to give you a heads up... i may end up doing another group buy before i head back though.. depends on the interest!

I just stumbled on this thread today... I am embarrassed on the lack of quality photos (AND QUANTITY, OP YOU SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE FOR US VIEWERS AT HOME!), whats goin on out there guys?!

Srwong, you cant attack Roberts ideas (however little sense they make) because to SOMEONE (my girlfriend for instance, or my sister) spending money on the car that drives fine is a waste of money... A waste on leds, WAIs, Catbacks, kickplates, Radios and everything else that comes with it.

What makes this community work is the diversity.... On one side you have people who choose to stuff as many different color lights in their ride as possible, with 20" chrome wheels.... and on the other side you have someone who has an empty trunk without a spare who has a turbo and tries to maximize performance....

Then in the middle somewhere is where most of us fall... It is your own determination where you fall in the scheme of things, from the AC owner who had that LV tint on his windows, to a gutted S14 with a big blower on it... we are all here for the love of the concept of modifications, however mild/wild your taste may be.
