So I showed up to the Oceanside spot at 7:25pm and not surprisingly there was no one there. I curised Oceanside Blvd for a few minutes and came by again, still no one. This is the 2nd time I showed up for the meet and no one came......BS.

It would have been nice to not have to drive so d@mn far to go to a meet but now I know why it's required.

Sorry you got burnt; I haven't heard much from the O'side guys in a while. We use a myspace page to keep things updated... so I will contact them and see what is going on with their meet for you.

I attend (and suedo co-organize) the Mira Mesa meet; we meet rain or shine.

Sorry you got burnt; its happened to all of us. We use zilvia ALOT so the presence here on Nico is very little.

I live in Carlsbad, I used to go to the Fuzion meets off Clairemont Mesa like every week (Tuesdays) last year but it got to be a hell of a drive. I don't mind going to the meets everynow and then when they are far (I've been to Oxnard/Long Beach ect and that was like a 1.5 hour drive one way. Oh well ish happens, I'll just more than likely go to the Mira Mesa ones.

The Mira Mesa Meet is pretty active; we just did a caravan to LA, we are arranging a trip to the haunted trail, we go bowling together.

I think you would enjoy it; as long as your friendly :P

so i just took a glance at the pics from the meet and saw that there were a lot of 240s... is it strictly a 240sx meet or do other cars show up too? maybe perhaps altima coupes...?

We have had mr2's and AE86's show. There isn't really a set ruling yet on that.

Here is the basic criteria:

Don't draw attention. If you burn out, drift in or race by or rev up; I have NO problem calling in your plate. ZERO. We are on good terms; which has taken a lot of time and effort to get and we will do what ever is needed to keep it. We aren't bothered so the SR and RB guys can hang.

Be open: If you come to a meet; arms crossed and quite, chances are you are not going to have ANY fun. Meets are social events. If you need someone to break the ice with, just find me! I get there at 8:10 on the dot.

No one is going to make fun of autos, fwd's or anything else: We aren't going to say we prefer it, but we all understand each person has a preference.

We are a chill group of fun people; so we invite EVERYONE that can follow those rules, show off the interesting points of their car, and share with others to come on down, grab a bite to eat and relax with like minded people.

The location has changed for this meet. The new location in off of the 76 and frazee rd in oceanside at the IN-N-OUT
