San Diego Club Racing Season 4

Welcome to Season 4 of San Diego Club Racing! We are opening our season with a technical high-speed Autocross event at Qualcomm Stadium! Fans and Passengers are Welcome at both Drag and Autocross events! Loaner helmets are available at the SD Club Racing Ez-up tent and the SCCA/Barona Timing facilities! We are all looking forward to yet another huge and exciting racing season! Thank you, and good luck!

Please note that Drag racing events are subject to change Due to weather or @ Barona Drag Owner's consent! Weather has no impact on Autocross dates, racing goes on rain or shine!


The official San Diego Club Racing series, Season 4 schedule:

RACE # 1: April 17th Autocross, Qualcomm Stadium, STD rules best time of 4 runs. Facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=1 ... 46&index=1

RACE # 2: May 15th, Autocross, Qualcomm Stadium, Rally timing rules, all penalties and times summed up, DNF Pentalty.

Race # 3: June 19th, Drag Race 1/8th mile @ Barona Drags, Accumulation timing, red light penalty and Reaction time come into account.

July: Gymkhana @ Barona Drags (not part of the official SDCR series, no points)

Race # 4: September 11th, Drag Race 1/8th mile @ Barona Drags, Bracket racing style. (details and rules to be announced as the final decision is reached)


Same basic rules as last Seasons:

2wd vehicles: FWD, and RWD only.
280 Treadwear or higher tires only.
Dash and at least a driver and passenger seat with seat belts required (contact director if you are unsure you car will fall into class).
$25 series entrance fee, all other costs are not associated with SDCR.
$30-$50 (depending on SCCA membership Status) entrance fee goes to the SCCA at the time of the autocross.
4 races total, 2 autocross at Qualcomm, 2 Drag races at Barona.
Winner of season 4 pushes the previous defending champion from the podium, $300 cash, free boba, 4 free dyno pulls, and giant trophy!
