yea i got it today, i only got like an hour to play it so i barley got a taste of it, but yea it rocks, its huge and just so awesome, i suggest you pick up a copy.

BTW: San Andreas is the 5th GTA : ) (not counting GTA London)

yep my roommate got it 12 hours ago and hes still sitting here playing it, its all ghetto based instead of mafia, so it actually is kinda funny from that standpoint. the thing i like most is the map is like 5 times the size of the one from vice city. but ya overall its a great game

LOL! Yea I heard its all about the bloods and cryptz in this one. I never really read up on this one, but it may be the first GTA game Ive bought on the PS2. I did buy the PS1 GTA games a looooonng time ago. Good times right there.

Excellent game. Everything I've ever loved about GTA, and everything I've ever had a gripe about fixed, plus all sorts of other goodies. You can even use the tow trucks...its fun to back into a cop who is following you and tow him away. Plus, driving a street sweeper in a skateboard bowl is fun as hell.

And by the way. It's GTA 5 not 4. I can't figure out why people keep calling it 4. Vice City was 4. Technically. GTA III was GTA 4, but that's another story.

Anyone who has played GTA:VC, the first area available to you in SanAn is about as large as the whole area in Vice City. And it's only a quarter of the whole state...you actually NEED to use the freeway or you'll never get anything done.

speaking of pimp, theres pimping missions now, (like vigalante and taxi cab missions) if you get you pimp status all the way up, ho's will PAY YOU to have relationships with you!

ive got about 10 hours in on it allready, and im still a broke bastard (bout 3 g's) theres a mod shop to mod your ride with "NOS" body work, custom paint jobs, wheels, etc. i used to drive a 90 thuderbird in real life, and thought it was cool that thunderbird is in the game, which is cool, theres also another car taht i caught a glimpse of where the front looks like a 300z and the back kinda looks mr2'ish. dunno... i need to steal me one. i like the new stealth kills to...

theres dance competiontions (think DDR) and lowrider competiotng (again like DDR)

there are houses that you can break in and steal stuff from.

Third quarter 2005. A year after its PS2 release, just like the previous 2 GTA games. I'm looking forward to it for the MTA mod and also so I can use whatever top end system I have to make it look NIIIICE!

I've got GTA II and VC for PS2 and PC. The PC version is incomparably better. What impresses me is that the PS2 SanAn is a step up from the PC VC on a top end system. That's saying something for the PS2.

eh, its got some frame rate issues, but from watching my friends play it, it doesn't seem that bad.

First off, if you would read all the posts in a thread before you run your mouth, you'd have seen where I said that it is coming to PC in the third quarter of 2005.

Secondly, to say that any game is crap just because it is not on the PC is absolute bull****. I am the first person to say that the PC is the ultimate superior gaming system, but there are plenty of good games for ALL the major consoles. I have a top end PC, a PS2, a Gamecube, and an XBox. I have games I enjoy on all those systems. The fact that you said something like that makes you look like a moron who is pre-disposed to hate anything you don't want to like. If you actually wanted to enjoy yourself, you might give a console game half a chance. Besides, even though the PC versions of GTA are superior as far as graphics and controls, they are identical in every other aspect. So that means that they are identical in how fun they are. If you can't have fun playing a game that is identical to one on a PC just because its not on a PC, then all you are doing is keeping yourself from having fun. If graphics are all that matters to you, you are stupid.

GTA is EXACTLY the same on the PC as on the PS2 save for a higher framerate, higher res graphics, and the control scheme--and you can get a keyboard and mouse for the PS2. But what you are saying is that you'd buy the PC version, but the PS2 version automatically sucks. How does that work? And don't give me some "because its not on the PC" or "just because" bullcrap.
