Why wouldn't it work? The phone has bluetooth, as does the car. If people were having problems with the bluetooth on that phone it would be all over the internet (people complaining).
Basically, if you can't get your phone to communicate with the car, either you're doing something wrong or the phone is broken (the car's bluetooth could also be broken). So, if its not working, go through the standard trouble shooting steps. AKA, borrow a friend with a phone and car that has a successful bluetooth pairing. Using the friend's phone, try to connect to your car. Using your phone, try to connect to their car. You will then quickly know what the problem is, if any, and be able to get it fixed.
