Samsung Note 8 blutetooth audio issue

Greetings -
I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung note 4 to a Samsung note 8. The issue I am having is that on my 2012 M37 I am unable to play audio through Bluetooth with my Note 8. Every time I slide the "audio" selection over on the phone it stays on for a second or two then slides back to off.

I have tried deleting it from a the car and re-pairing. Rebooting the phone etc etc. Still doesn't let me play audio through the Bluetooth in the car. I can receive phone calls and speak over the Bluetooth with no issue. Just no music. When i had the note 4 paired up to the car I did not have this issue.

Anyone else expireince this ? if so, what did you do to resolve it?

I recall you have to select the phone on the car. There is an option to have the phone play both phone calls and media. Default is phone only.

Yes, I believe this is what's happening to you op.

Is your phone service through Verizon? Apparently this is a known problem with the iPhone 8 and Verizon, which is why my new iPhone 8 will no longer stream on my my 2015 Q70.

I had a note 4 and got a note 8 but don't have that problem. it works great. delete all the connections to your car and connect again selecting audio and calls. same for the phone. it should work
