I am having issue with my Samsung galaxy 6 edge phone with ATT carrier working with my Infiniti M37 2012. when I am talking on the phone hands free it sounds like I have the windows down. The dealer replaced the mic and it fixed the issue for about 5000 miles then went back to sounding like window noise. The dealer is feeding me a line of $hit that my phone is not compatible with the car per Infiniti website. REALLY I have to use a 3 year old phone with my 3 year old car??? I am a computer systems engineer and know this a cop out. I am not trying to stream movies or music or anything wild here.

BTW I love Nissan and Infiniti cars. I have had 4 models, 240sx convertible, Pathfinder, Altima, Q45 and now M37. I have never had an issue this smile be so time consuming. I drive 40,000 miles a year and should not have to hold the phone to my head for an hour each way to work.

I assume you have tried other phones to see if they mimic the issue, 3 years old or otherwise?

I'd go back to the dealer and have a salesman or tech manager connect with their phone and show them the type of phone doesn't matter.

If they still give you static, find a cheap phone on eBay that is on the approved list per Infiniti and go that route. Short of that, I would go to a different dealer and/or contact corporate armed with the fact that your car was fixed for the same issue previously.

How does streaming music sound?
Are you also connected to a smart watch while in the car?

For what it's worth, I have an LG G4 connected to my car and Motorola 360 (v1) and don't have any issues.

Good news they replaced the mic again and it works perfectly. My work phone is on the compatible list so I told him I would be back if it wasn't fixed
