i have a 90 240sx with a 93 twin cam swap it was running fine fer the pass 3 monthes then i put a z32 fuel filter z 32 master brake booster z32 front calipers and here one of the problems haha brakes wouldnt bleed right pedal went straight to the floor every time after bleeding and now for the bigger problem @ about 2500 to 3000 rpm it starts sputtering and all that jazzz i took out the butter flys in the intake mani and checked fer vac leaks nothing i changed my mafs like 4 times now i changed the tps 3 times i checked compression 2 times spark is good changed knock sensor water temp sensor feels slugish wen i give half throttle it bogs fer a sec then picks up fast but i dnt knw what else to do ima bout to sell it but the history of the car means alot to me being it was a presant from my mother that now lives like 600 miles away from me haha ne ways yeah ne help would be best and oh yeah wen i rev it high to tac out black smoke comes out alot alot unburn gas? who knws thankx sorry about the long post

Alright, from what I can understand I'll try to help..

Brake problem - did you bench bleed your Master Cylinder before putting it on the car? As well, try using a vacuum bleeder VS foot pumping method.

Sputter problem - If its after you just changed your fuel filter, check to make sure all your lines are snug and tight, with no leaks. I had the same problem with my fuel, because of no pressure. As well, did you use a new filter or used? (Hopefully new lol)

yeah its new i even switched it back to the stock 240 filter but a new one and still the same prob i replaced the fuel pump to a brand new one and every thing i dnt knw whats wrong wit it to me it smells like it getting to much gas ? but i changed the regulator twice and still the same crap where do i check pressure ? maybe to puch fuel pressure ? i dnt knw im stumped

buy a fuel pressure gauge tester , "t" into your fuel line and run the gauge thru the back of your hood and under your wiper arm , tape it to the windshield , get a freind to ride along and record the psi when the problem starts

cool ill try that even tho the problem starts every time im just cruseing at 2500 to 3000 rpm or even wen i just rev it up the that and hold it but thankx ill try that today
