same engine harness in different cars?

i am looking for a CA18DE(t) engine for my FWD 88 pulsar (n13)

fwd ca18's are hard to find because of the transmission.

my question is will a harness from a different car (example: s13) fit and be useable on my pulsar?

i do not know what the harnesses actually consist of so thats why im asking.

i dont even know what the harnesses plug into..

if someone can help me that would be much appreciated

The length of the harness is different from a FWD compared to a RWD ca18de(t), for example length of wire going to your MAF is configured to where its located. As far as harness connections, it differs from a turbo vs a non turbo. Your best bet is to find the like years and engine specific. There should be an old thread on this, and like the good ole days, search is your friend- just need to be patient and deligent in finding the specifics to your relation.
