Doesn anyone know who's gasoline Sam's club resales? For those that don't know what Sam's is, it's a subsidiary of Wal-mart. I've heard it "might" be Chevron but so far no one knows for sure. I've done a lot of googling with no luck.

HAHA ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO CHEVRON GAS. CHEVRON DOESN'T SELL ITS PURE GAS THEY ONLY SELL THE LEFT OVERS. SAMS CLUB IS PROBABLY TEXACO OR MOBIL FUEL. I WOULD EITHER GO TO EXXON OR CHEVRON TO GET GAS IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT OCTANCE RATINGS BEING TRUE.

I honestly don't care. I buy it, its cheap, it says 93 octane, doesn't give the 3k any problems (and that things a beotch when it comes to octane)

YEAH THATS WHY I SAID EXXON..... ITS A MERGER. SHELL FUEL IS WITH TEXACRAP NOW TOO. I WISH WE GOT GULF FUELS HERE LIKE THEY DO IN CANADA, THAT IS GOOD GAS. I USED TO IMPORT THAT STUFF FOR OUR GO-KARTS AND THEN WE SWITCHED TO SUNOCO RACE FUELS.

I THOUGHT THEY LOSS THE SUIT AND COULDN'T MERGE WITH TEXACO SO TEXACO MERGED WITH SHELL. EITHER WAY SHELL AND TEXACO SUCK.

huh, I'm with you on the Texaco thing....I haven't had all that much luck with them, but Shell is one of my favorites. Perhaps its a regional thing? I've gotten one tank of bad Shell gas, but that was in the boonies.

If you live in California, all of it is bad......stupid 91 octane cat pee.

Chevron is my favorite though, with amoco running a close second.

Well, I knew because it was a road trip and I got 5mpg less than normal. Also, there was no strong headwind and I was going my usual speed...so it must have been the gas because as soon as I got fresh, it went back up to where it should have been.
